You won’t want to miss this inspiring chat between two awesome women

After Amazin LeThi’s incredible first DIVA Instagram Takeover featuring Black Lightning star, Chantal Thuy, we can’t wait for the next edition. Luckily we won’t have to wait for long. On Tuesday 18 May, LGBTQI advocate, athlete and ambassador Amazin will be taking over DIVA’s Instagram for a fascinating discussion with Emmy-nominated actor and trans advocate Rain Valdez. This exciting online event is part of Amazin’s ongoing series for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Rain Valdez is super impressive. She’s just received her first Primetime Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series”, in recognition for her amazing work in the lead role in RAZOR TONGUE. Not only does she star in this series, she created, crowdfunded and produced it too #CareerGoals! Rain is the first ever Filipina American transgender actress to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy in an acting category. As well as her fabulous onscreen career, Rain is the founder of ActNow, the first and only acting class in Los Angeles prioritising a safe space for LGBTQIA actors.
