Lisa Power joins Polly Shute for an exclusive interview in our Facebook community

DIVA has launched a series of DIVA Community exclusive and live Zoom chats with some of our lovely friends and supporters called #TheRileyInterviews.

Tonight (30 June) at 8pm as part of the series, Polly Shute will be hosting a guest spot where she will get to chat with Lisa Power via Zoom.

Lisa Power is a self-identified “dyke who’s been around for donkey’s years.” She came out on a demonstration in 1976 and has been campaigning ever since, one way or another. She is currently the Chair of the HIV Justice Network, a global human rights group and a Trustee of Queer Britain, the LGBTQI museum project.

Launched as a way of bringing the lez/bi community closer together with everything that’s happening in the world right now, the Facebook-based, digital hangout DIVA Community has grown to a membership of 5,000 women and allies, hailing from all around the globe. Pretty impressive, eh? So we thought it’s time to give back to you wonderful lot.
