There are plenty of important dates in the LGBTQI calendar – National Coming Out Day, LGBT History Month and of course, celebrating Ellen DeGeneres’s birthday. But once a year, Dinah Shore Weekend rolls around and tops them all.
It is the largest lesbian event on the planet, and 2020 marks its 30 year anniversary! Partnered with SHOWTIME, this year is set to be bigger, better and more lesbilicious than ever.
Both The Dinah and SHOWTIME have proven to be groundbreaking companies that celebrate LGBTQI representation. The commitment of SHOWTIME to authentically tell LGTBQI stories goes hand in hand with the Dinah’s own vision of offering a five-day event where women can live out loud, on their own terms, authentically and with pride.

The official Dinah Shore Weekend takes place in Palm Springs, California and famously features musical performances from up and coming stars, comedy shows, pool parties, celeb meet and greets and so much more.

The L Word Pool Party
This event is beyond every lesbian’s wildest dreams. Dinah Shore is throwing an L Word Pool Party.
We’re talking hundreds of L Word lovers poolside with the hottest DJ’s bringing the best vibes as well as special celebrity guests. Potential L Word star appearances at Dinah Shore – are we dreaming?
SHOWTIME will have a poolside presence, providing free L Word giveaways (while they last) and offering exclusive L Word merch for sale on site.
Who’s performing at Dinah Shore?
Dinah Shore is well-known for its world-class entertainment and this year is no exception!
For 2020, the Dinah Comedy Night features the likes of Dana Goldberg, Gina Yashere and Dinah Leffert. Prepare for all of the laughter.
There will also be musical performances from queer heartthrobs such as Umi, Yung Baby Tate Ally Brooke, and Madison Paige. Whether it’s on the stage or poolside, these performances are gonna blow your mind.
