THE GUILTY FEMINIST LIVE: THE ROAD TO GILEAD PROJECT

September 25 @ 19:30 - 22:00 BST
£15 – £22.50
Join The Guilty Feminist and its bold new initiative, The Road to Gilead Project, for a live show blending humour with radical hope, presented as part of the debut Vision Festival at Town Hall by Bottaccio.

Since 2016, The Guilty Feminist podcast has racked up more than 200 million downloads by examining the noble goals of 21st-century feminism and the hypocrisies and insecurities that undermine them. It’s the show that proves you don’t have to be perfect to be a force for meaningful change.

The Road to Gilead Project aims to spark connection and action in turbulent times. Whether you’re questioning, committed or simply curious, you’ll be welcomed into an honest conversation about building real coalitions for change and resisting the slide towards dystopia with courage, creativity and collective joy.

Deborah Frances-White is joined by BAFTA-nominated comedian, musician and actor Rachel Parris, alongside two remarkable guests working at the forefront of breast cancer research and care: UCL molecular biologist Dr Nnenna Kanu, whose pioneering work at The Francis Crick explores how aggressive cancers evolve and resist treatment, and Sam Jacobs, Chief Executive of Future Dreams, providing practical, emotional and psychological support to people affected by breast cancer. Expect comedy, candid conversation, moving stories and practical hope, culminating in a joyful performance from the children’s choir of Alleyn’s Regent’s Park.
