Attention all sapphic and queer screenbuffs! It’s that time again for us to all get excited about LGBTQIA+ releases coming to cinemas, streaming platforms and DVD. So, without further ado, let’s see what there is to look forward to in March.
32nd Annual Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA

BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival 2026
Taking place from 18-29 March, the hotly anticipated 40th anniversary edition of this film festival boasts a programme full of LGBTQIA+ talent and treats for lesbian, sapphic and trans cinema lovers.
Saturday Night Live UK
The six-episode series will allow British audiences the chance to hear the line: “Live from London, it’s Saturday Night”. Bisexual performer Ania Magliano and gay comedian Larry Dean are among the 11 comics who will be bringing the historic late night series to the UK.

Heartbreak High: Season 3
We can’t wait to be reunited with this wonderfully queer and diverse cast of characters. This wholesome, hilarious (and often very stressful) show is sure to pack an emotional punch.

Forbidden Fruits
I’ve got good news for our US readers: this horror is coming to US cinemas on 27 March. Unfortunately a international release date is yet to be confirmed, but we can only hope that here in the UK we’ll get to see this film and its queer AF cast.
