Accessible and inclusive fertility care is crucial for everyone – especially for LGBTQIA+ parents. That’s why we’re heading to Newcastle this March with London Women’s Clinic for The Familymakers Show. This exciting new event will give LGBTQIA+ individuals the chance to learn more about the fertility treatment options open to them and help connect them to some incredible experts and clinics.

What is The Familymakers Show Newcastle?
The Familymakers Show Newcastle is a free event that will bring experts in fertility care from different clinics into one place. With a mission to make LGBTQIA+ inclusive fertility care accessible to everyone, The Familymakers Show Newcastle will provide information, advice and community.
What talks can I attend at The Familymakers Show Newcastle?
At The Familymakers Show Newcastle, there will be lectures running throughout the day. These include:
- IUI and Donor Sperm Made Simple
- Finding An Egg Donor Doesn’t Have To Be Complicated
- Choosing A Sperm Donor
- Kind iVF
- Creating LGBTQIA+ Families With Reciprocal IVF
- Fertility Coaching: Wellbeing & Support
Will there be anything available after the talks at The Familymakers Show Newcastle?
Yes! There will be a Networking Drinks following the day where you can connect and chat with other people who are on similar paths to you. This will run from 4 pm – 5 pm.
You can also secure a FREE ticket to see the show Shuggy Boats at the Live Theatre in the evening. When registering your ticket, make sure to select the option with the Theatre Show included.
Shuggy Boats, a comedy, tells the story of Maeve, who comes out, aged 60, in order to live her most authentic life. Her shock action spurs others to come out in their own ways. Her husband “comes out” as a closet intellectual, their son “comes out” as a romantic, her sister “comes out” of her relentless grief and her niece “comes out” to embrace life as a single mother.
Who will I be able to meet at The Familymakers Show Newcastle?
There will be a number of exhibitors available to chat to outside of the main talks. These include: London Women’s Clinic, Kind iVF, LWC Egg Freezing, London Sperm Bank and London Egg Bank.
