Back for its fourth annual installment, on Sunday 7 December, Deptford Lounge will once again be hosting London’s biggest LGBTQIA+ Christmas market, home to all things queer and Christmassy.

Queermas is hosted by London Queer Mart, a community focused art market event who work to provide queer artists and queer-owned small businesses with an affordable platform to exhibit their work.

Rather than buying your Christmas gifts from Amazon this year, why not support some well-deserved queer artists instead? This year’s market promises to host over 130 queer artists and business-owners with stalls selling prints, jewellery, ceramics, zines, sculptures, clothing and more.

Be sure to look out for Queermas’ workshop stalls as well, with everything from tarot card readings to tooth gems – including a queer mixing and mingling matchmaking service. There will also be a Charity Tombola, with all donations going to the Queer Youth Art Collective

The lineup for Queermas has now been released – head to London Queer Mart’s Instagram to see the list of queer artists and makers to keep an eye out for on the day.

Whether you come alone, with a friend or in a big group, there will be something there for everyone and the opportunity to meet and chat to lots of lovely LGBTQIA+ people. All ages are welcome, however London Queer Mart does not censor their artists so parental supervision is advised for young children.
