“Before her, I never knew happiness”

Lioness star and queer icon Alex Scott is waiting for Jess Glynne to propose, as audiences heard on I’m A Celeb last night (18 Nov).
After being asked by Ruby Wax about her relationship, Alex gushed about the way meeting Jess had changed her life. “Before her, I never knew happiness,” she admitted. “I just want to do the rest of my life with her.”
At the start of their relationship Jess and Alex kept things largely private, and didn’t hard-launch their relationship until March of last year. The football legend revealed that the pair had met at a “boujee” members’ club in London where Jess had walked straight up to Alex. It was Jess’ “ballsiness” that had Alex hooked. “The spark was just instant, we fell madly in love,” she told Ruby.
When asked about marriage, Alex revealed that she’s just waiting for Jess to propose! “I know my forever is with her.”
Responding to last night’s episode, Jess took to Instagram and said: “I better go get a ring.”
Fans have been enjoying hearing Alex speak candidly about her relationship, including a hilarious moment when YouTuber Angry Ginge asked whether Jess gets annoyed by the Jet2 memes. This internet trend was started after Jess’ hit song Hold My Hand was used in a Jet2 advert. Alex laughed and said: “She’s won a Grammy and now she’s just known as the Jet2 girl.”
