The highly anticipated second season of the much-loved spin-off series from the universe of The Boys is streaming now on Prime Video. It’s been moving to see the way the show treated the late Chance Perdomo’s character, Andre, with a lot of care.
If, like me, you spend your time pointing at the screen like a certain Leonardo DiCaprio meme and going, “That’s that person from that other show!” well, this one’s for you. Let’s take a look at the wonderful cast of season two and their acting credits.
Jaz Sinclair (Marie Moreau)
Jaz does an incredible job portraying Marie, a supe with the power of blood manipulation. Last time around, we got to see her explore her sexuality with bigender supe Jordan Li. You might recognise her from book-to-screen adaptations such as Paper Towns and The Vampire Diaries. She’s also played Amber in Netflix’s anthology show Easy and Rosalind Walker in Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina.

London Thor (Jordan Li)
This Korean-American actor and singer-songwriter plays the shapeshifting bigender supe’s feminine presenting self. She’s previously played a musician in Greta Gerwig’s Ladybird and her acting credits also include portraying Stephanie in You and Stella in Never Have I Ever.

Derek Luh (Jordan Li)
And playing Jordan’s masculine presenting self is Derek Luh who is establishing himself as an exciting talent to watch. He’s previously starred in three other series: Runaways, All Rise and Shining Vale.

Lizze Broadway (Emma Meyer)
Emma is a complex character, with equally complex powers and Lizzie evidently puts her all into portraying her. Lizzie appears to have a love of mystery because her acting credits include: Based On A True Story, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Chicago P.D. and A Killer Walks Amongst Us.

Maddie Phillips (Cate Dunlap)
With the power of telepathy, Cate is one of the most powerful supe’s in the show. And this is far from Maddie’s first time acting in a supernatural show, as evidenced by her small roles in Legion, Lucifer and Supernatural. And we loved seeing her play Gigi in Overcompensating.
Asa Germann (Sam Riordan)
Sam is an extremely superpowered supe who is battling an internal struggle. It will be interesting to see what this instalment does with his character. As well as appearing alongside Maddie in The Boys, he’s previously appeared in the Monster TV series and is set to appear in a future Scream instalment.
Season two of Gen V is currently streaming on Prime Video.
