Over the last decade, the lesbian night Butch, Please! – founded by Tabs Benjamin – has provided a safe space for butches and butch appreciators to come together and party, protest and take action.
To celebrate the movement’s anniversary, DIVA staff writer Ella Gauci takes our readers on a (very butch) trip down memory lane to track the way that the revolutionary Butch, Please! changed everything.
