If you loved watching I Kissed A Girl, you’ll be ecstatic to know that you too can live the gay girl dream by the poolside. From 2 – 6 October, you can experience the trip of a lifetime in sunny Spain for a unique blend of wellness and party vibes.
This four-day mini wellness festival has been described by attendees as “Lesbian Love Island”. It’s set in a private and environmentally-friendly ecolodge with healthy meals provided and an array of rustic retreat-style accommodation options. During the event, you can take part in wellbeing workshops and talks, relax by the pool or enjoy the onsite games, then get ready for an evening boogie.
LezBe Mindful in Málaga is organised by Kalie Jade who has a wealth of experience in facilitating safe sapphic spaces in London for the last 11 years and popular queer women’s retreats, with a series of UK-based luxury glamping weekends in Norfolk. As a qualified meditation teacher, Sound Therapist and Reiki Master, Kalie is passionate about creating spaces for healing and transformation, particularly within the LGBTQIA+ community.
“I had a dream to launch a lesbian wellness festival abroad, and this dream finally became a reality last year,” says Kalie. “Helping people to overcome fears and step outside of their comfort zone really feeds my soul. It’s not been easy but it has been worth it!”
Michelle attended last year’s event in Malaga, she said: “From start to finish the customer journey was impeccable, I felt so looked after, Kalie could not do enough. She was so attentive and organised. I’ve never been away on my own abroad with a group of women I’ve never met before but we’ve made friends for life and I felt so included.”
Lauren added: “Never have I felt so welcomed and accepted by such a beautiful group of people, I was able to be the truest, most authentic version of myself. I’ll be forever grateful to Kalie for creating this amazing experience that truly healed my heart – in ways I didn’t know I needed until now.”
