BBC’s groundbreaking queer dating series I Kissed A Girl is set to return for a second season. The show, which made history as the UK’s first dating series for queer women, is now casting its next set of on-screen lovers.
The upcoming season promises more of the passion, drama, and authenticity that fans loved in the first series. Host and LGBTQIA+ ally, Dannii Minogue, expressed her excitement about returning to the show as she said: “I can’t wait for the return of the girls – let’s see what the heat of the Italian sun does for kisses and connections. It is sure to get sparks flying.”
Much like the first season of the award-winning show, produced by Twofour, the format remains the same: ten singletons will meet for the first time with a kiss, embarking on a journey to find love in a stunning Italian Masseria. Charley Marlowe will also return as narrator, promising viewers “so much kissing” and candid commentary that adds an extra layer of fun to the series. She added that she admired the girls for their bravery in being able to kiss so openly, saying, “Good for them – I can’t do it, I’m too much of a baby, I’m like, ‘Get away from me’.”
Casting is now open for those interested in participating. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to share their love story with a wide audience and be part of a show that celebrates queer love and representation.
