Tinsel Town will launch on Sky Cinema Christmas 2025

It’s shaping up to be a great year for Rebel Wilson fans. Juliet & Romeo is an upcoming pop musical releasing in cinemas this June that stars Rebel as Lady Capulet. And today, a first look image was released for the upcoming Sky Original film Tinsel Town, where we’ll get to see Rebel share a screen with Kiefer Sutherland.
The film follows Bradley (Kiefer), a failed Hollywood star who ends up in a small snowy village to star in the town’s production of Cinderella. A quirky cast of oddballs – including no-nonsense choreographer Jill (Rebel) – soon work their way unexpectedly into his heart.
The cast also features Katherine Ryan, Derek Jacobi, Mawaan Rizwan, Maria Friedman, Jason Manford, Asim Chaudhry, Danny Dyer, Ray Fearon, Alice Eve, Lucien Laviscount, James Lance, Meera Syal, Savannah Lee Smith, Theodora Williams, Matilda Firth and Eden Hamilton.
In the first-look still from the film, we can see Bradley with his daughter Emma (Matilda), alongside Jil and her daughter Cara (Theodora) attending a local school Christmas fair. By the looks of things, it looks sure to be a cosy festive film.
This Christmas film will be another exciting highlight from Rebel’s career in recent years. In 2022 she played the lead role in the film Senior Year. Two years later, she shared her first onscreen kiss with a woman in the very emotional The Almond And The Seahorse. In the same year, her tell-all memoir Rebel Rising was also published. I wonder what the Australian star will do next?
