Good news! Miley Cyrus has confirmed her upcoming album is for the gays. When asked by a fan how gay the album will be, she said it would be her “gayest”.

On 6 May, the singer joined Spotify for a private preview of Something Beautiful, her next studio album. The event included an opportunity for fans to ask Miley questions and one asked how gay the album would be. Miley’s answer was: “It’s not only my best album, but my gayest.”

The album is set to be released on 30 May and will be accompanied by a musical film of the same name later in June. Three songs have already been released – Prelude, a spoken word track, the title song, and End Of The World, a disco-esque song about escapism.

Following the event, fans took to social media to express their happiness about the album. One X user said: “Gave the girls a record and a reason to strut at the same time.”

Another said: “Miley just declared Something Beautiful her ‘gayest album yet’? The rainbow-tinged bops are coming—pride came early this year!”
