Beloved Scottish singer-songwriter Horse is celebrating the 35th anniversary of her seminal debut album The Same Sky with a heartfelt anniversary tour set to hit venues across the UK. Known for her searing vocals and uncompromising emotional honesty, Horse will perform the album in its entirety – in original track order – for the first time ever.
Released in 1990, The Same Sky marked the arrival of a powerful new voice in music. From the punchy, defiant opener You Could Be Forgiven to the aching intimacy of Careful – later famously covered by Will Young – the album carved out a unique space in the pop-rock landscape. Now, three and a half decades on, Horse is taking fans back to where it all began.
But this won’t be your average nostalgia gig. Between songs, the artist will offer candid reflections and behind-the-scenes stories from her storied career, giving audiences a rare glimpse into the journey behind the music. Expect laughter, tears, and a whole lot of soul.
Alongside The Same Sky set, the tour will feature standout tracks from her most recent release, The Road Less Travelled, blending fan favourites with bold new material. It’s a dynamic showcase of a voice that still burns as brightly as ever – fearless, tender, and utterly unique.
For longtime fans and curious newcomers alike, this tour is more than a celebration – it’s a powerful testament to the enduring impact of one of Scotland’s most vital artists.
