myGwork, the world’s largest LGBTQIA talent and networking platform, has announced new investment and leadership that will help grow its mission to make the workplace more inclusive and empower LGBTQIA professionals.

With this new round of funding, the platform can expand internationally and enhance how they equip businesses to build truly inclusive work environments. With a total investment that now exceeds £4 million over the past four years, they can improve their e-learning offerings, recruitment solutions and employer branding services.

Phil Hollingdale, one of myGwork’s investors and founder of six tech startups, led the latest round of funding. Hollingdale, who first invested in July 2023, is also stepping into the role of Chairman. He said: “I am excited to join mGwork at such a pivotal moment in its growth journey. Inclusive workplaces are essential for both business success and social progress, and myGwork is at the forefront of driving this change globally.”

Last year, myGwork attracted over 8.5 million job seekers across the globe, all looking for roles in companies committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Earlier this year, after the US administration’s attacks on DEI initiatives, the platform experienced a 120% surge in traffic from US job seekers.

Due to its legacy of working hard to make the work environment more inclusive, myGwork has announced several new appointments. Sarah Willcocks, with over 25 years of expertise in technology, eCommerce and digital transformation, will be the new managing director. Richard Egginton will be the new Chief Technology Officer and Charlie Eva will be the new business development manager.

“With Phil, Sarah, Richard and Charlie joining our existing team, we are well-positioned to accelerate growth, enhance our offerings, and expand our global impact on workplace inclusion,” said co-founders Adrien and Pierre Gaubert. “This progress demonstrates that organisations worldwide remain deeply committed to inclusion, despite external pressures.”
