From exploring Kitty’s bisexuality to the return of a few familiar faces, here’s everything you need to know about the next instalment of the hit Netflix show.
The Netflix series XO, Kitty is a spin-off of the To All The Boys films. It follows Lara Jean’s younger sister Kitty – portrayed by the talented Anna Cathcart – as she moves to attend school in Seoul.
Following the success of the first season, the trailer for season two was released earlier this week, and there is plenty to unpack!
Much to the excitement of queer fans, this season is set to follow Kitty’s journey exploring her bisexuality. The trailer opened with a shot of the titular character dreaming about her complicated season one love triangle involving Yuri and Min Ho.
We then see the matchmaker going over her plans for the term with her best friend Quincy: “Last semester ended with so much drama. This semester, I have my priorities straight. I’m going to hit the books and finally discover who my mom really was. I’m ready to launch Kitty 2.0,” Kitty exclaims.
Naturally, the trailer reveals that a drama-free semester is easier said than done due to Kitty’s chaotic love life in which she wants to start dating women, and growing questions surrounding her late mother.

The season, premiering on 16 January on Netflix, will see the entire cast of season one reprising their roles, including Minyeong Choi as Dae Heon Kim, Gia Kim as Yuri Han, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Quincy “Q” Shabazian, Peter Thurnwald as Alex Finnerty, and Regan Aliyah as Juliana.
New faces will also join Kitty and her KISS crew in season two, with Audrey Huynh as Stella, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena, Joshua Jin as Joshua Lee, and Noah Centineo reprising his role as Peter Kavinsky from the original franchise.
In the 2023-24 season, Netflix had 155 LGBTQ+ characters in its TV series, more than any other streaming service. We’re excited to see how this season unfolds!
