June may be over, but Pride season is most certainly still ongoing as we gear up for Trans Pride Manchester. Following the success of its inaugural event last year, Trans Pride Manchester is getting ready for an even bigger celebration of the trans+ community on 3 August. 

Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting event. 

When is Trans Pride Manchester?

3 August 11:00-18:00. 

Where is the meeting point for Trans Pride Manchester?

The meeting point for this year’s Trans Pride Manchester is Castlefield Urban Heritage Park. There will be speeches between 11:30-12:00, and then the Protest March will begin through the city centre. The March will set off from St Peter’s Square. 

Where will the panel events be held for Trans Pride Manchester?

They will be held at the Manchester Art Gallery between 14:00-16:45. 

What workshops will be on offer during Trans Pride Manchester?

You can attend workshops led by Proud2BeParents, Trans Teen Social, Trans Parenting Pathways and Parents of Trans Kids at The Proud Place. Find out more information and sign up here: transpridemcr.org/transpride2024 

Will there be an afterparty at Trans Pride Manchester?

Yes! Working in collaboration with Girls On Film, Trans Pride Manchester will be hosting an afterparty at Platform @ Freight Island between 21:00-24:00. Get your tickets here
