Ahead of the upcoming reunion, we take a look at what our favourite stars have been up to since the show ended in 2021

In 1996, a comic book series created by Beau Smith introduced the world to Wynonna Earp, a present-day, monster-hunting descendant of the legendary lawman Wyatt Earp. Nineteen years later, Emily Andras adapted the series into a TV show that fought more than the undead. In a year where more than twenty-five queer women died in scripted TV and the “Bury Your Gays” trope was still going strong, Emily promised audiences that her queer characters would survive.

Despite an international campaign for a fifth season, the show aired its final episode in 2021. However, Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, a 90-minute special, is set to run on Tubi later this year. While we await a reunion with this much-loved show, let’s see what the cast has been up to…

Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp)

Thankfully, everyone’s favourite gunslinger will be returning for Vengeance. The show’s star has been busy in the years she’s spent away from the Ghost River Triangle.

Melanie joined the prequel series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as Captain Marie Batel, continued her role as Mrs McMurray in Letterkenny and starred in horror-comedy Clickbait: Unfollowed, a film she co-wrote and directed with fellow Wynonna Earp star, Katherine Barrell.

Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverly Earp)

Waverly Earp, Wynonna’s half-sister, was a veritable bi-con on the show. After realising she was bisexual in season one, Waverly spent the next three seasons in a relationship with Officer Nicole Haught. The younger Earp was played by non-binary actor Dominique Provost-Chalkley.

Dominique took a break from acting, instead focusing on their non-profit organisation Start The Wave, which funds grassroots projects across issues around the world.

But fans need not fear! Waverly is set to appear in Vengeance.

Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught)

The other half of WayHaught was the openly lesbian deputy sheriff, Nicole Haught. It was through Nicole that the “Bury Your Gays” trope was actively challenged in the season one finale when a bulletproof vest saves her life.

Those who miss seeing Katherine in a supernatural role should check out Good Witch, which she joined as Joy Harper, the show’s first LGBTQIA character.

Shamier Anderson (Xavier Dolls)

Xavier Dolls, a fire-breathing special agent, devastated fans when he left at the end of season three, but actor Shamier Anderson has been booked and busy since his departure.

Most recently, Shamier appeared alongside Keanu Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 4, as bounty hunter Mr. Nobody, and as Trevante Cole in Apple TV+’s Invasion.

He’s been even busier as a producer, having set up Bay Mills Studios with Stephan James. Keep your eyes peeled and your teddy bears close – the pair are set to make an R-rated TV series based on Winnie the Pooh’s Christopher Robin.

Tim Rozon (Doc Holliday)

The immortal Doc Holliday was played by Tim Rozon, who fans of another Canadian TV show, Schitt’s Creek, will recognise as Mutt Schitt, Alexis’ early love interest.

Tim has amassed a fair few credits in TV Movies but recently made his return to the Wild West in Calamity Jane and tofantasy in SurrealEstate, as a realtor who sells haunted houses. Alongside Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, Rozon has a few works on the horizon. As of writing, he’s starring in films like Spread, Infiltrate, Hunting Grounds and Protectors Of The Land which are all in post-production.

Tamara Duarte (Rosita Bustillos)

Though not in the show for very long, Rosita made an impression. Doc’s revenant girlfriend shared a brief kiss with Waverly. Though the moment was over quickly, it still made for great viewing when Rosita betrayed the team.

Since leaving the show, Tamara has racked up a few acting credits, but her main project has been The Art Of Melo, a yoga, pilates and wellness brand.

Varun Saranga (Jeremy Chetri)

Sweet, sweet Jeremy Chetri was a Black Badge Division scientist on the show and regularly helped the Earps in their battles against creatures. His relationship with Robin Jett was devastating. Two years on, we still can’t get over it.

After Wynonna Earp, Varun has appeared alongside Jessie Buckley and Riz Ahmed in Fingernails, voiced Raj in Total Drama Island: Reboot and got engaged! Congrats, Varun!

Justin Kelly and Jim Watson (Robin Jett)

Justin was the first person to play Robin, taking on the role for season three. For the final season, when Robin is struggling with amnesia, the role was recast as Jim.

Justin has been in 100 episodes of Hudson & Rex, a TV series about a detective and his canine partner.

Jim co-starred in Fingernails alongside his on-screen boyfriend, Varun, and appeared regularly in Transplant.

Noam Jenkins (Amon)

For the final season, we were treated to the highly flirtatious Amon, who seemed to have a thing for both Wynonna and Doc.

Noam has since been in Rabbit Hole and Reacher, though, unfortunately, not in nearly as flirty roles.
