The annual Pride Power List is here once again to celebrate the people who are working to make LGBTQIA life just that little bit brighter. Started in 2012, the Pride Power List honours individuals who have made a difference to the community over the last 12 months whether that be campaigning, advocacy, or writing for publications across the globe.
The Pride Power List was published in The Guardian this morning (28 June). Doctor Who and Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa was number one this year, notably for being the first Black and queer actor to take on the role of the Doctor. Heartstopper’s Yasmin Finney, Fleabag’s Andrew Scott, and The Last Of Us’ Bella Ramsey were also honoured in the top ten of this year’s list.
Alongside the Pride Power List, a number of corporate and celebrity allies were honoured for their continued support to help improve the lives of the LGBTQIA community. You can read the full list here: pridepowerlist.com
DIVA magazine celebrates 30 years in print in 2024. If you like what we do, then get behind LGBTQIA media and keep us going for another generation. Your support is invaluable.
