After the success of their last expedition, the #WeTwo Foundation is looking for 10 young people to go on the adventure of a lifetime

The #WeTwo Foundation charity is on the lookout for extraordinary young individuals deserving of an unparalleled opportunity: a journey to the enchanting Galapagos Islands in October 2024. Inspired by the legacy of Charles Darwin, who embarked on a transformative voyage to the Galapagos nearly two centuries ago, this expedition aims to empower 10 deserving young people to follow in his footsteps and redefine the meaning of adventure.
Following the resounding success of the groundbreaking City To Sea expedition to Antarctica in 2022, where Dwayne Fields and Phoebe Smith led a group of underprivileged youngsters on an unforgettable journey, the #WeTwo Foundation is eager to continue its mission of changing lives through adventure.
Participants in the Antarctica expedition earned their spots through acts of environmental stewardship in their communities, demonstrating a commitment to making a positive difference. From rewilding riverbanks to organising beach clean-ups and planting trees, these young adventurers exemplified the spirit of sustainable action.
Now, the #WeTwo Foundation is seeking nominations for the Galapagos expedition from across the UK. Teachers, social workers, parents, guardians, police officers, foster carers, and friends are encouraged to nominate deserving candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The selected individuals will embark on a journey filled with awe-inspiring encounters with the region’s unique wildlife and opportunities to contribute to local conservation efforts.
Just as with the Antarctica expedition, participants will pay it forward by engaging in environmental initiatives in their communities, supported by the #WeTwo Foundation. Additionally, the Foundation has partnered with sustainable outdoor clothing brand Craghoppers to ensure that the expedition is eco-conscious from start to finish.
