Jess Glynne is back! The GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter, who’s brought us hits like Hold My Hand and Real Love, has just released her new intimate single Enough. Alongside this new track, Jess has also announced the details of her third studio album Jess, which is set for release on 26 April.

This new music venture is Jess’ most intimate to date, and the stripped-back music video for her new single is a testament to this. The optimistic track explores Jess’ relationship with self-worth and acceptance, reminding us all that we are enough.

Speaking in a statement about the single, Jess said: “Enough is the first song that I knew was 100% going on the album. I wrote it in 2020 when I was going through a lot in my life. Everyone had been through it that year, and I was heavily hit by a feeling of insecurity and lack of self-worth.”

“I was going through a lot of changes personally and professionally and my confidence had been really set back. As soon as we started writing, I was reminded in that moment, by the people in the room, that I am good enough and I am so proud of how far I have come.”

“I’ve paid my dues, I’ve grafted and I’m not going back to ever letting anyone make me feel like I’m not good enough ever again. I hope others manage to feel hope and gain the same strength from it that I do – we are all Enough and there’s no going back to feeling otherwise. It was then that I knew in my gut by the way this song made me feel, this had to be the first single from my new album.”

Jess is the only British female solo artist to score seven number ones in the UK singles chart. In fact, it’s hard to imagine the music industry without her hit tracks like Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself and I’ll Be There.

Last year Jess also shared three new tracks Silly Me, What Do You Do and Friend Of Mine which will be on her new album. Jess has described this new album as being “unapologetically me”.

“It’s about moving on and allowing myself to be secure, empowered, sexy, vulnerable and strong. I’ve allowed myself to be raw and honest with my lyrics,” she continued.

Jess will be released on 26 April.
