Is there any better feeling than getting lost between the pages of a great book and then coming together to discuss it? Well, 2022 is here and the DIVA Book Club is back! If you’re not already signed up, you can do so by joining the Facebook group here. As well as reading the books and discussing it amongst other members of the group, you’ll get the chance to attend a bi-monthly live sessions and hear from the author as well. So prepare your burning questions!
We’ve already read some incredible books by fantastic authors so far, such as Mari Hannah, Annie Garthwaite and more! Next up we have a haunting tale from A. J. West, The Spirit Engineer.
Readers will travel back to Belfast, 1914. Two years after the historic sinking of the Titanic. In their collective grief, people have turned to spiritualism and attempt to reach their departed through séances. The story is based on the true story of William Jackson Crawford and the medium Kathleen Goligher. The cast of characters also includes Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini.
