DESCRIPTION:London Trans+ Pride (LTP) is the UK’s largest annual demonstration in support of trans\, non-binary\, and gender non-conforming lives. \nLTP was born as\, and now in its fourth year continues to be\, a community-first project. Drawing inspiration from the first ever Pride’s origins at the Stonewall Inn as well as contemporaries (Queer Picnic\, UK Black Pride\, Trans Pride Brighton)\, this project exists to serve many goals but our core mission remains the same as it’s always been – \nTo create a community-facing pride celebration\, organised by and for trans+ and non-binary people\, to highlight their needs\, struggles\, successes\, and experiences in a conversation where often trans+ voices go unheard\, and where they can be themselves without ridicule\, threat\, or vilification.

DESCRIPTION:The Brighton & Hove Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade 2023 will be on Saturday 5 August. \nAfter the success of last year’s Love – Protest – Unity theme\, now more than ever we must continue standing together to campaign for global LGBTQ+ rights. \nLove – a declaration of love for all our LGBTQ+ siblings and confirmation that we will always stand together as a community\nProtest – acknowledging that the Pride movement has its roots in protest and committing to continuing the fight for global human rights\nUnity – as our hard fought for rights are being eroded around the world\, a recognition that our differences make us stronger and commitment to campaign until all are treated equally. \nIt is one of the biggest and brightest events in Brighton & Hove’s events calendar\, with over 300\,000 people thronging the city’s streets to participate in and watch the parade of community and campaign groups\, and the all-singing\, all-dancing carnival of colour as it wends its way from Hove Lawns to Preston Park for We Are Fabuloso\, the official Brighton & Hove Pride charity fundraiser.

From a bus-load of attendees travelling to Southend-on-Sea to 10\,000 people in Haggerston Park\, UK Black Pride is proud to return to Newham\, the largest space the organisation has occupied since its inception. \nThe world’s largest pride celebration for LGBTQI+ people of African\, Asian\, Caribbean\, Latin American and Middle Eastern-descent has continued to grow year-on-year.
