SUMMARY:Queer and Trans Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Calling all of the LGBTQ+ community – this one is for you! \nJoin Tamsin for one of two weekly queer and trans yoga sessions. \nPricing: \nGeneral Admission £10 \nDiscounted tickets: \nQTIPOC (LGBTQ people of colour) £8 use code QTIPOC8 \nMinimum wage or claiming UC £6 use code YOGA6 \nAbout the class: \nThis class is the energising morning vinyasa flow class. This is a dynamic flowy class with an emphasis on connecting body movement with the breath. Perfect way to wake up the mind and body in the morning ready for the day ahead. Tamsin’s teaching style aims to be inclusive to all people whilst adopting a trauma-informed\, body acceptance approach. She believes in the healing power of connecting to nature through yoga and how this should be accessible to all of us! The class will include asana (yoga postures)\, pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation in order to adopt a true and full yoga experience. This class is suitable for all levels! \nWhy queer and trans specific yoga? \nTamsin says \n“I believe that yoga should be accessible to everybody and as a queer person of colour I understand the feeling of being othered in yoga/wellness/spiritual spaces. So\, I decided to become a yoga teacher with the aim of making yoga more accessible to communities that would not normally enter a yoga studio due to the cis/hetronormative nature of the western wellness world. Yoga has provided me with a great amount of healing and I hope to share this with others that may also benefit from the practice. Our community deserves to have a safe\, supportive and non-judgemental environment where we can allow ourselves to be vulnerable and explore this life changing practice! I would also love to see more sober queer events and spaces focused around improving our wellbeing!”

Far too often certain voices from our community feel unheard and under-represented. True Pride is about just that – a platform for the creative voices of the whole LGBTQI. It is what we feel PRIDE should be about. True Pride is born out of anger. The anger of feeling unseen and unheard by the very platform where we should be centre stage. Moved aside by an idea of what those in high places feel we should like and listen to. It is our aim to create a safe\, empowering\, and truly diverse and representative space where we can finally see ourselves.”

SUMMARY:Wife Material
DESCRIPTION:First comes love\, then comes equal marriage! Heleana is a planner. Sophia is a poet. The ‘dynamic married duo\,’ (Broadway Baby) are here to answer all the big questions: how do you get your parents high by accident? What does it feel like to be kink-shamed by your bank? And if Will Smith wrote a rap about financial advice inspired by Martin Lewis\, what on earth would that sound like? \nA celebration of love\, equality and eccentricity from both sides. ‘…A charming\, mildly absurd hoot\,’ London Evening Standard. ‘The perfect combination of stand-up comedy and spoken word’ DIVA Magazine.
