SUMMARY:Queer and Trans Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Calling all of the LGBTQ+ community – this one is for you! \nJoin Tamsin for one of two weekly queer and trans yoga sessions. \nPricing: \nGeneral Admission £10 \nDiscounted tickets: \nQTIPOC (LGBTQ people of colour) £8 use code QTIPOC8 \nMinimum wage or claiming UC £6 use code YOGA6 \nAbout the class: \nThis class is the energising morning vinyasa flow class. This is a dynamic flowy class with an emphasis on connecting body movement with the breath. Perfect way to wake up the mind and body in the morning ready for the day ahead. Tamsin’s teaching style aims to be inclusive to all people whilst adopting a trauma-informed\, body acceptance approach. She believes in the healing power of connecting to nature through yoga and how this should be accessible to all of us! The class will include asana (yoga postures)\, pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation in order to adopt a true and full yoga experience. This class is suitable for all levels! \nWhy queer and trans specific yoga? \nTamsin says \n“I believe that yoga should be accessible to everybody and as a queer person of colour I understand the feeling of being othered in yoga/wellness/spiritual spaces. So\, I decided to become a yoga teacher with the aim of making yoga more accessible to communities that would not normally enter a yoga studio due to the cis/hetronormative nature of the western wellness world. Yoga has provided me with a great amount of healing and I hope to share this with others that may also benefit from the practice. Our community deserves to have a safe\, supportive and non-judgemental environment where we can allow ourselves to be vulnerable and explore this life changing practice! I would also love to see more sober queer events and spaces focused around improving our wellbeing!”

SUMMARY:Queer Edge
DESCRIPTION:Queer Edge is an East London queer collective\, providing inclusive spaces for the local queer community\, irrespective of age\, gender or sexuality. \nThey are a community-led project – a chosen family – passionate that everyone in their neighbourhood and LGBTQIA community feels the same sense of belonging and love. So they launched Queer Edge where they throw regular queer events including clubnights\, live music nights\, panel discussions\, and a queer coworking space. \nThis night is hosted at Two More Years\, as an evening affair\, 7pm-midnight. It fills the gap between a bar and a rave\, making it the perfect place to meet people within your local LGBTQIA community. \nQueer Edge operates a pay-what-you-can admission system – so everyone can afford to attend queer spaces\, keeping inclusivity at the heart of everything they do. For entrance to their evenings at Two More Years\, they ask if donations could kindly start from a fiver\, or whatever YOU think a night like this is worth 🙂 What is raised helps fund future Queer Edge events\, whilst also supporting their chosen LGBTQIA charities (see http://www.queeredge.co.uk/give)

SUMMARY:Queer Edge Late
DESCRIPTION:Queer Edge is an East London queer collective\, providing inclusive spaces for the local queer community\, irrespective of age\, gender or sexuality. \nThey are a community-led project – a chosen family – passionate that everyone in their neighbourhood feels the same sense of belonging and love. So they get together on the first Friday of every month and go a bit wild for a beautiful evening… It fills the gap between a bar and a rave\, making it the perfect place to meet people within your local queer community. \nQueer Edge operates a pay-what-you-can admission system – so everyone can afford to attend their spaces\, keeping inclusivity at the heart of everything they do. However for LATE where the line ups are bigger and the nights longer\, they ask (only if you can) if you could kindly start donations from a fiver pre 10/ a tenner post 10\, to help them cover what’s going to be an EPIC night! If you can’t\, do not worry\, just message them. There is also a pay-it-forward ticket on their website\, for those who can. What is raised helps fund future Queer Edge events\, whilst also supporting their chosen LGBTQIA charities (see http://www.queeredge.co.uk/give)

SUMMARY:Rebel Love Wedding Fair
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Rebel Love Wedding Fair! Join us at The Station – Creative Youth Network for a day filled with all things LGBTQIA weddings. Whether you’re part of the community or an ally looking to provide a safe inclusive space on your wedding for your Queer guests or you want a fun way to support the LGBTQIA community\, this wedding fair is for you! \nDiscover unique vendors\, get inspiration from stunning displays\, and chat with experts who can make your day extra special. From trendy decor to delicious cakes\, we’ve got it all. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make your big day unforgettable! \nWhat is Rebel Love Wedding Fair? \nRebel Love Wedding Fair was born out of the need for a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQIA people getting married. As wedding photographers and videographers\, we’ve heard countless horror stories from our Queer clients about their experiences at traditional wedding fairs. From being mistaken for relatives or “best friends getting married on the same day” to being misgendered and facing homophobic micro-aggressions\, these stories made it clear that something had to change. We knew we needed to create a safe space for our fellow community. \nFirst\, we launched Rebel Love Directory\, a platform that highlights LGBTQIA and active ally wedding suppliers. It became a go-to resource for couples seeking inclusive and supportive vendors for their big day. But we didn’t stop there. We wanted to create an event that would bring this inclusive ethos to life in a vibrant\, welcoming environment. \nNow\, we are thrilled to introduce the first-ever truly inclusive LGBTQIA wedding fair: Rebel Love Wedding Fair\, taking place in Bristol at The Station. This isn’t just another wedding fair; it’s a celebration of love in all its forms and a chance for couples to meet vendors who genuinely understand and support their needs. \nRebel Love Wedding Fair is designed for the LGBTQIA community and anyone who wants to support Queer-owned businesses when planning their wedding. It’s a space where you can feel seen\, heard\, and respected\, and where you can connect with suppliers who are not just tolerant but actively inclusive and welcoming. \nJoin us at Rebel Love Wedding Fair and experience a wedding fair like no other\, where love is celebrated without boundaries\, and inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re looking for the perfect photographer\, a unique venue\, or simply some inspiration for your big day\, you’ll find it here in a supportive and affirming environment. \nAccessibility: \nDisabled access throughout the venue \nDisabled toilets \nGender neutral toilets \nQuiet hour at the start of the day (10am-11am)
