The Lesbian Discussion Group
The Lesbian Discussion Group at the Gay’s The Word Book Shop (WC1 N 1AB) has been going for over 30 years and is one of the most established community experiences in London.
It is open to all women who wish to either discuss, listen to, or bond over topics that deal with anything from Love, Life and Dating to Politics, Philosophies and Coming Out.
The group takes place every Wednesday from 8pm – 9pm inside the book shop itself. There is a steady stream of newcomers and everybody is more than welcome to also come along to our informal socials that tend to happen right after the discussion has taken place (we usually go to a bar or pub in the area).
Please arrive on time as we lock the door during the discussion group in order to avoid disruptions. Should you arrive after 8pm, we would recommend that you go to one of the eateries or bars in the area and then meet us after 9pm once the shop’s door has been opened. Thank you for your understanding.
