Audre Lorde Day

A small group of Black Lesbians have come together to organise a celebration of Audre Lorde on what would have been her 90th birthday. Join us as we reflect on the influence she had on Black, Asian, Lesbians of Colour (BALOC) in Britain during the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.  This is an intergenerational event so we are extending a warm welcome to the younger generations.

We’ll mingle, feast, listen to panelists, watch a film, catch performances and dance!

This event welcomes all those Lesbians or non binary Lesbians who identify as Black, Asian, or of colour.
