Forbidden Fruits: Where have I seen the cast before?

Let’s check out where you’ve seen the faces of this witchy flick before

“At a mall store, Apple (Lili Reinhart) leads a secret witch cult with coworkers Cherry (Victoria Pedretti) and Fig (Alexandra Shipp). New hire Pumpkin (Lola Tung) questions their sisterhood, forcing them to confront inner darkness or meet violent ends.” As soon as I saw the synopsis and cast for this comedy horror, I knew I was going to be obsessed. This iconic flick is currently in cinemas, so don’t miss out on the chance to see it.

If, like me, you spend most of your time watching a new film or series wondering where you’ve seen the cast before – we’ve got you covered! Join us in taking a look at the core cast and their acting credits…

Lili Reinhart

This openly bisexual actor is arguably most known for portraying Betty Cooper in Riverdale. She’s also starred in the reboot of Charlie’s Angels and the romantic comedy Look Both Ways. Some of her other acting credits include American Sweatshop, Hal & Harper, Chemical Hearts and Hustlers. Pssst… if you’re a book lover like me, you might be very excited to see the bi actor star in the upcoming book-to-screen adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s The Love Hypothesis.

Victoria Pedretti

This actor is many a DIVA reader’s ultimate crush, and she’s also one half of one of our favourite onscreen WLW ships of all time due to her role in The Haunting Of Bly Manor. Her resume includes shows like You and The Haunting Of Hill House, as well as films like Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Ponyboi. And if you’re a lover of audiobooks, she also narrated a sapphic spy audio erotica for Quin. You’re welcome!

Alexandra Shipp

We loved seeing this pansexual star have a lesbian wedding in the romcom Anyone But You. We also loved her performance in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. As well as playing Storm in the X-Men franchise, she has starred in films like Tick, Tick… BOOM!, Asking For It and Love, Simon. We’ve also seen her in TV shows like Laid, Your Family Or Mine and Days Of Our Lives. Oh, and some of her gayest acting credits are actually her performance in music videos. We got giddy watching her kiss Hayley Kiyoko (aka Lesbian Jesus) in the Chance music video and, more recently, we saw her give Reneé Rapp the cold shoulder in the Mad music video.

Lola Tung

At just 23 years old, this actor has already had an impressive career leading the hugely popular The Summer I Turned Pretty series. She also starred as Harper in Chasing Summer, and fans are excited to see her in the upcoming The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Movie. Like Alexandra, Lola also loaned her acting chops to music videos such as Royel Otis’ Who’s Your Boyfriend MV. We’re excited to see where this star goes next…
