Baby! Where the hell is my… ticket to Brighton & Hove Pride’s 35th anniversary Pride on the Park? Taking place on 1–2 August, global superstars RAYE and Diana Ross will be headlining the community fundraiser. Yep, you read that right.

Known for her number one tracks like Where Is My Husband! or Escapism, RAYE has cemented herself as a firm favourite amongst the queer community. The British singer will be performing on Saturday, 1 August. And in a UK exclusive live show, Diana Ross is asking us all to come out with her on Sunday, 2 August.

Celebrating 35 years of Brighton & Hove Pride, the theme for this year’s annual celebration is “The Power Of Love”. The theme reflects the need for solidarity, resistance and community in these troubling times for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Speaking about this year’s Brighton & Hove Pride, managing director, Paul Kemp, said: “Having first graced our stage in 2018, RAYE’S journey over the past nine years has been nothing short of extraordinary. Welcoming the incomparable Diana Ross as our Sunday headliner as a UK live show exclusive is a dream come true. Her legendary voice and catalogue of hits will be an unforgettable moment in Brighton Pride history.”

Brighton’s first Gay Pride took place in 1973, organised by the Sussex Gay Liberation Front. The next Pride would not take place until 1991, as many members of the community did not feel safe enough to march. To commemorate 35 years of visibility, solidarity and celebration, Brighton & Hove Pride wants to honour those early activists and use their bravery to carry us forward.

Brighton & Hove Pride has raised over £1.5 million for local good causes through the Pride Social Impact Fund, PrideCultural Development Fund and Pride Solidarity Fund. The Pride Social Impact Fund helps provide grants to local groups.
