If you’re looking to unwind, you’ve come to the right place

There are weekends away – and then there are weekends that gently shift something in you.

This March, the Glencoe March Spa and Snow Weekend, run by Oban Lesbian+ Weekend (OLW+) Events, invites LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people to experience Glencoe through the same OLW+ lens that has made the Oban weekends so loved – warmth, laughter, connection, and that unmistakable feeling of belonging.

Set beside a shimmering loch, with the mountains of Glencoe rising dramatically all around, this intimate queer getaway blends fine dining, spa relaxation, and playful winter adventure in a way that feels luxurious, grounding, and joyfully human. Stay in the beautiful Isle of Glencoe Hotel – or park up your campervan right by the water and join us from there.

Come solo or come together

Whether you arrive on your own or hand-in-hand with a partner, this is a weekend designed for connection.

Solo guests are gently folded into conversations over breakfast and long dinners, while couples meet new friends and rediscover the pleasure of shared experiences – from lochside walks to late-night chats by the fire.

As always with OLW+ events, the space is trans inclusive and warmly welcoming of our non-binary friends. It should go without saying – but it matters, so we say it anyway.

Fine dining with a view you won’t forget

As daylight fades across the loch and the mountains deepen in colour, evenings are spent lingering over beautifully prepared three-course fine dining dinners. Conversation flows easily, laughter carries, and outside the windows the loch reflects the changing sky and starlit nights.

It’s the kind of dining experience where connection happens naturally – unhurried, convivial, and quietly special.

A Saturday at OLW+’s Glencoe Lesbian Spa Weekend

6–8 March 2026

If you’re wondering what the weekend actually feels like, Saturday offers the perfect snapshot.

Your day might begin by lingering over a full Scottish cooked breakfast, enjoyed lazily with the group – the kind of morning where conversations stretch, plans form organically, and there’s no rush to be anywhere.

From there, the day opens up in all directions. Some guests head straight for the spa hydrotherapy or pool, sinking into warmth and stillness. Others wander lochside paths or nearby woodland trails. And for the more adventurous, hiking boots come out as many of us head into the mountains together – fresh air, big skies, waterfalls, and that unmistakable Glencoe drama all around.

As the day unfolds, you might:

  • Stop with new friends to visit a stunning Highland waterfall
  • Glide up the chairlift for breathtaking mountain views
  • Laugh your way down the slopes on bum sledges, followed by lunch at the top
  • Visit wild deer up close and grab a coffee at the Kingshouse
  • Swap snow for spa time – pool, sauna, and hydrotherapy bliss

The day gently draws to a close with a gorgeous three-course fine dining dinner back at the lochside hotel, where stories are shared and friendships deepen over candlelight and views across the water.

Rest, wander, or play

Beyond Saturday, the weekend continues entirely at your own pace. Mornings begin again with long breakfasts, followed by spa hydrotherapy sessions, lochside walks, or quiet moments watching the light shift across the mountains.

Keep your eyes open – Glencoe’s wild deer often wander close, offering those rare, unfiltered encounters with nature that stay with you long after you leave.

A rare kind of queer space

What sets this weekend apart isn’t just the scenery – it’s the atmosphere.

Built on OLW+’s reputation for warmth, ease, and genuine connection, this is a space where friendships form naturally, solo guests feel held, couples feel refreshed, and everyone is welcome exactly as they are.

Lez go snowboarding or skiing

On Sunday, there’s the option to head out for free skiing or join our snowboarding lessons. Some of you may be racing down the hill, while others will find it hard to leave the spa – or may be happily playing board games by the loch before heading home.

There’s no right way to do this weekend. Only your way.
