The world’s first bricks-and-mortar museum dedicated to vaginas, vulvas and the gynaecological anatomy has announced that Lady Phyll and Amazin LeThi are their new ambassadors.

As the Chief Executive of UK Black Pride, Lady Phyll is a trailblazing activist who has fought tirelessly for LGBTQIA+ rights. Joining Lady Phyll is athlete, motivational speaker and LGBTQIA+ advocate Amazin LeThi.

Speaking about becoming an ambassador for The Vagina Museum, Lady Phyll said: “Our bodies tell stories — of survival, pleasure, pain and power — yet too often, those stories, especially those of Black women and girls, have been silenced or shamed. The Vagina Museum is breaking that silence with courage and compassion. By creating space for honest conversation and learning, it reminds us that our bodies are nothing to hide from or apologise for.”

Amazin LeThi added: “As an LGBTQ, East Asian person, I’ve experienced how vital representation is and how often voices like mine are overlooked. Becoming an Ambassador for the Vagina Museum allows me to amplify marginalized voices, break stigma, and celebrate bodies and stories that have too often been silenced. I’m proud to be an Ambassador for the Museum, using this platform to challenge stigma, elevate unheard voices, and create a space where all bodies are seen and celebrated.”

Earlier this year, the Museum also unveiled a new patronage scheme which aims to support the Museum’s mission to foster intersectional, feminist and trans inclusive values. In addition to this, The Vagina Museum has launched its winter fundraising campaign with the hopes of raising £20,000 to support running costs during the ongoing cost of living crisis.

The Vagina Museum opened its first location in Camden Market in 2019. It has been operating in its new location in Bethnal Green since 2023.
