Are you more into Doechii or Lorde?

It’s that time of year again. Spotify Wrapped is back to remind you of all the times you cried to the same sad Phoebe Bridgers song or all the nights you listened to Tegan and Sara before a party. If you’ve kept your finger on the pulse this year, chances are one of these artists features on your Wrapped. If that’s the case, here’s what your music taste says about you.

Reneé Rapp

Sorry to hear about your breakup. If you’ve been streaming this lesbian icon, chances are you’re getting over an ex. It’s okay though, because you’re still looking absolutely fire even when you’re having your sad girl sessions. Perhaps it’s time to stop watching the edits of Reneé and Towa Bird for now?

Doechii

You’ve had an unstoppable year. Packed with parties, dancing, friends, twerking and fun, you’ve been blasting this bi-con throughout the year. In 2025, you’ve stopped caring what other people think, and now you’re ready to embrace yourself exactly as you are. As the queen says: “These hoes ain’t phasing me.”

Lorde

2025 was a big year for millennials and Gen Z who haven’t fully recovered from Lorde’s first album, Pure Heroine. Let me guess? This year, you’ve been paralysed by nostalgia and the fear that your youth is running out? You’re prone to taking long, sprawling walks while reminiscing about a time when you didn’t have to pay taxes or do your own food shop.

CMAT

You’re the life of any party, and you’re not afraid to make sure everyone knows it. If you’ve been streaming this Irish icon, it’s highly likely that you’re not ashamed to be 100% yourself. You’re quirky, ready to dance, and always the first person to shut down an entitled man at a party.

Kwn

Yup, we know what you’ve been up to this year, and it’s potentially too NSFW for us to write down here. People can find you in the middle of the dancefloor, moving your hips like no one is watching. You’ve got good taste – keep it up!

Brandi Carlile

This year has been all about finding yourself. You’ve spent the last twelve months reconnecting with what makes you happy, being out in nature and accepting that things will not always be perfect.

Lucy Dacus

You’re in your lover girl era. You want every song to feel like a declaration of adoration for your new boo. Let me guess? You may have even applied for Lucy to marry you on stage during her tour? We bet Best Guess plays through your head on every date.

Nxdia

You’ve been living as your unapologetic self, and you’ve been loving it. You’re not sure if you have the answers for everything, but what you do know is what makes you happy. You may be facing uncertainty about the future for now, but you know that you have the strength to get through it.

Cat Burns

Take a deep breath. We know this year hasn’t been the easiest for you. It can feel like there’s a brick wall in front of you that isn’t budging, no matter how hard you try. It will be okay. Cry, go on a walk, and remember that that light will always shine inside of you.

KATSEYE

Everything has been gnarly for you this year. You’ve been obsessed with Y2K style, TikTok and learning viral dances. You might have spent a bit too much time on your phone this year, but who is counting? Right?
