No, we’re not okay…

No, you’ve read that right. Doechii gave queer icon Ayo Edebiri a lap dance on stage – and sapphics have not been able to recover properly since.
Performing at the Camp Flog Gnaw music festival, the chart-topping, genre-defying megastar Doechii was performing at Dodger Stadium when she brought out The Bear actor. The spicy encounter took place during Doechii’s song Crazy when Ayo came out in a baseball cap and a tank top.
Sitting at a school desk, Doechii climbed onto the desk in thigh-high leather boots and not much else before she started giving Ayo a lap dance. Yep, we’ve never been so jealous of a desk in our lives.

Fans were quick to point out that Ayo was clinging onto Doechii for dear life while the desk span. “She didn’t know what to do with allathat,” one user commented on TikTok.
“I’m speechless,” another added.
It’s safe to say that the performance has broken the sapphic internet. This isn’t the first time that Doechii has brought out a celeb guest for a spicy routine on stage. At the 2024 MTV VMAs, Doechii joined Katy Perry for a saucy rendition of their hit song I’m His, He’s Mine.
Doechii has been providing the LGBTQIA+ community with plenty of moments this year. Whether she’s standing up for trans rights or just being a “real bi bitch”, Doechii has proved time and time again why she’s a queer icon.
We’re going to need approximately three business days to get over this performance. Doechii and Ayo, you knew exactly what the girls needed.
