From spooky to hilarious, we’re obsessed with these costumes

It’s no secret that gay Halloween gets bigger and better every year. After all, there’s nothing LGBTQIA+ people like doing more than dressing up as obscure pop culture references or dousing ourselves in glitter. This year, some of our favourite queer celebs knocked it out of the park with their spooky, scary and downright hilarious costumes. Here are some of our favourites.
Megan Thee Stallion
If there’s one celeb who loves Halloween, it’s the iconic rapper Megan Thee Stallion. This year, she graced us with a number of looks including Drolta from Castlevania as part of #Hottieween. Yep, she’s still that bitch.
Lady Gaga
It’s no surprise that Lady Gaga pulled out all the stops this year. The queen of all things spooky, scary and camp dressed at the Garden of Eden – and its gardener – for this year’s Halloween in a beautiful floral gown.
Niecy Nash-Betts and Jessica Betts
One of our favourite couples decided to take inspiration from the Super Bowl for their costume this year. With Niecy dressed as tennis icon Serena Williams and Jessica going as Kendrick Lamar, the pair showed how to do a couple’s costume in style.
Keke Palmer
Bringing all the swagger to their costume this year were Keke Palmer and her two-year-old son. The pair dressed as Snoop Dog and Bow Wow for this epic costume.
Janelle Monáe
Never one to shy away from a bold outfit, Janelle wowed fans with multiple incredible Halloween costumes this year. The singer donned the iconic Cat In The Hat costume, full fur suit and top hat included. Janelle also went as a vampire and paid homage to queer-beloved film The Craft.
Demi Lovato
Possibly our favourite costume of the year goes to Demi Lovato who dressed as the iconic meme Poot this year. Demi, you win Halloween.
