Artist Kwn and Kehlani have officially hard-launched their relationship to the world after months of keeping sapphics on their toes.

Following the release of the pair’s collaborative track Worst Behaviour in February, fans were quick to point out the undeniable chemistry between them. However, it wasn’t until Kehlani and Kwn both hard-launched each other on TikTok this month that fans finally had an answer.

Both were quick to delete these coupley videos when the internet began accusing the pair of cheating on previous partners. Kwn posted a video to TikTok to clear up these rumours and call for people to be kinder online.

Kwn said: “My last relationship was in 2021, 2022, and when I met Kehlani, she was very much single. I don’t know what timeline you lot think you’re piecing together, but it’s wrong.”

She added: “There’s lies that are being told that are just not true. And the toll that that takes on people’s mental health, when you’re seeing things like this, it’s just crazy.”

“Just because people are in the public eye and they’re public facing, doesn’t mean you know everything that’s going on in their life at every specific time.”

Despite the initial backlash, the heat directed at this new hard launch seems to have died down, with fans excited to see what this new musical duo will do next as a couple. Given their steamy make-out session in the music video for Worst Behaviour, we can assume that this new chapter might bring us some more incredible tunes.

The response from the public has also raised questions about the way fans interact with celebrities’ personal lives. One user wrote on X: “keep in mind, kehlani ORRR kwn would never date any of yall.”

Another wrote: “Now that KWN and Kehlani are (finally) officially public with it, I WANT SUPER GAE AFFECTIONATE CONTENT! SUPER GAE AFFECTIONATE MUSIC. SUPER GAE AFFECTIONATE TIKTOKS. GAE, GAE, GAE! AFFECTION, AFFECTION, AFFECTION! LOVE, LOVE LOVE! YOU HEAR ME??!!”
