Brandi Carlile is becoming a karaoke regular, and sapphics are going absolutely wild for it.

The Americana singer has been sending the internet into a frenzy with her recent karaoke performances. The star recently turned up at Seattle’s only lesbian bar, The Wildrose Bar, to give a rendition of Reba McEntire’s Fancy. Posting a clip to TikTok, the singer captioned it: “Celebrating the release of my new album the only way anyone should – singing karaoke in a lesbian bar.”

Released on 24 October, Brandi’s new album Returning To Myself is her eighth studio album and has been dubbed as one of her most philosophical and reflective ones yet. This new musical chapter follows her collaboration with Elton John earlier this year.

This impromptu karaoke performance isn’t the first time Brandi has been seen holding the mic in a lesbian bar this year. Last month, she surprised fans with a set of classic karaoke hits like Total Eclipse Of The Heart at Nashville’s The Lipstick Lounge.

It’s safe to say that fans have gone pretty wild over these performances. Comments on her recent karaoke rendition saw people experiencing serious FOMO. “OMG I can’t imagine just stumbling into this,” one user wrote on TikTok.

“Brandi’s karaoke side quests keep popping up in my feed and I love it,” another added.

We hope to see Brandi continue to belt out karaoke classics. Maybe she can even get Elton John involved…
