2025 is gearing up to be the year of Reneé Rapp. The lesbian singer-songwriter recently caused sapphics around the world to get hot under the collar when she teased her upcoming new releases with a thirst trap. And when she released the Leave Me Alone music video – the first single from her upcoming and Bite Me album – the shes, theys and gays continued to obsess over the singer.
And now, she’s released the Mad music video, which features actor and singer Alexandra Shipp whose credits include Barbie, Anyone But You AND Hayley Kiyoko’s (aka Lesbian Jesus) Chance music video. That’s a very gay resume!
In Mad we get to see Reneé and Alexandra play lovers. Alexandra is giving Reneé the silent treatment and Reneé is so not up for it as she sings: “Hey you, all of the time / you wasted in your head / We could have been having sex / You could have been gettin’”.
And while you’re here, join us in streaming these new queer and sapphic music releases on repeat…
