It’s back! Everyone’s favourite messy reality TV show has returned with six new couples, and there’s a lot to unpack. You think the first series was messy? Think again. This new batch of confused couples has brought us tears, laughs and some vital conversations.

Here’s everything we loved, hated and admired in the first seven episodes.
AJ’s mum is concerned about the quality of oral sex
Episode two gave us lots of dramatic moments, but none caught our attention quite like AJ revealing that her mum has asked ex-partners how well they’re eating pussy. I guess that’s one way to break the ice…
Oral sex seems to be a common theme in AJ’s vocabulary, as in episode three she even jokes about being “versed in pussy language”.
Danya and Mel’s steamy balcony kiss
We know we weren’t the only ones who gasped when Dayna and Mel shared a cheeky snog in episode four. During their trial marriage, we saw the pair get closer and closer, culminating in physical intimacy. This smooch seemed to set off a chain reaction as Pilar and Kyle and Haley and Magan soon locked lips after.
Magan and Pilar talk about feeling isolated from their families
In candid and powerful discussions, Magan and Pilar both opened up about having their identity rejected by their families. While drama and messy relationships are gripping, it was so powerful to see two people speak openly about the harm that not being accepted can bring. In a truly tear-jerking moment, Pilar and Kyle’s mother spoke about how to navigate a parent not being okay with who you are.
Poolgate
What would you do if you saw your ex at the pool? In Danya’s eyes, the best thing to do was ignore Magan. This one interaction later set off a whole chain of events, which involved a teary phone call, lots of arguing at the Changeover ceremony and a very confusing cliffhanger for the pair.
Pilar blocking Haley on Instagram
While it’s often the cause of conflict, we love that the couples can still see each other’s social media posts. At the changeover ceremony, Haley revealed that Pilar had posted a picture of Kyle with heart eyes and then blocked her. Yikes…
Spotifygate
In a dramatic twist that no one was expecting, Dayna and Mel’s sex playlists (yes, you read that right) were revealed to ex-partner Magan in a shocking way. In a somewhat fated turn, Dayna and Mel’s Spotify accounts were streamed onto Magan’s TV (in an unspecified tech glitch) which showed the number of sex and romantic playlists the pair had made during the trial marriage.
Oxtail
For some light comic relief, one of the funnier cheating scandals of the Changeover ceremony occurred when Britney revealed that she had made Marita oxtail, much to AJ’s horror. AJ went on to discuss how devastated she was that she had missed such a delicious meal.
Matching tattoos
If you thought Dayna and Mel’s trial marriage wasn’t dramatic enough, it was revealed right at the end of episode seven that the pair had got matching tattoos together. While that’s already pretty sketchy, tensions heightened when it was revealed that Magan and Dayna had already discussed getting matching tattoos before…
