Get ready to fall in love — again! Randall Media is turning its wildly popular short film Kismet into a feature, and they’re inviting fans to help bring the magic to life.

Written and directed by Arnetta Randall, Kismet is a refreshing, feel-good romantic comedy that’s already captured hearts around the world. The story follows Jessica, a woman newly back on the market after a tough breakup. As she stumbles her way through self-discovery and new possibilities, Jessica realizes that maybe love (and life) has more in store for her than she thought.

The short film version of Kismet has already become a viral sensation, with over nine million views on YouTube – and counting. Now, Randall is ready to take the next big leap: turning Kismet into a full-length feature film. To do that, Randall Media has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Seed&Spark.

“I’m a big fan of romantic comedies, I wanted to see a light-hearted comedy about lesbians. Another inspiration to make Kismet was lack of visibility. There were no lesbian romantic comedies featuring two Black leads,” the film’s mission statement reads.

Supporters can contribute at seedandspark.com/fund/kismet. Every dollar helps bring more vibrant, diverse storytelling to the big screen.

In a world that could use a little more laughter, love, and light — Kismet is exactly the kind of film we need. So if you’re into love stories, rooting for queer joy or just want to see more Black lesbians living their best lives on screen, now’s your chance to help make it happen.

Love is in the air — and Kismet is just getting started.
