Here’s what you need to know about London Dyke March 2025

The event will be taking place on 21 June

After a triumphant inaugural London Dyke March last year, the grassroots, radical march is back once again this June. The anti-corporate, anti-commercial, intersectional event will take place later this month to create space for dykes to reclaim their narrative, stand up for what they believe in, and come together as one united front. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s London Dyke March.  

When is the London Dyke March? 

21 June. 

Where is the meeting point for London Dyke March? 

Head over to Richmond Terrace at 12 pm for the meeting time. Marching will begin at 12:30 pm so you don’t want to be late. While the exact route hasn’t been released yet for safety reasons, the march will end near Hyde Park Speakers Corner. If you need access to the route beforehand, you can message the organisers on Instagram (@dyke_march).

Who is the London Dyke March for? 

As their Instagram reads, London Dyke March is “for anyone who identifies with the word dyke”. The organisers have always made their stance clear: London Dyke March is a safe space for trans+ women, sex workers and migrants. In marching, you are standing up for a free Palestine, safety for trans+ women and the right to assemble. 

Will there be security at this year’s London Dyke March? 

Yes. London Dyke March has employed security and welfare officers from Safe Only, the UK’s all-queer peer-to-peer non-profit welfare and SIA provision, and harm reduction consultants. Organisers have warned that there could be police presence on the day.

Will London Dyke March be accessible?

Yes! In fact, disabled dykes will be leading this year’s march. In this section of the march, masks will be required. There will be some masks available to get on the day, but these will be limited so everyone is advised to bring their own.
