This June, Pride Month in London takes on a revitalising new form with the launch of Pride in Wellness — the city’s first dedicated LGBTQIA+ wellness event. Held from 26–29 June in the vibrant heart of Canary Wharf, this four-day celebration offers a sanctuary of healing, movement, and connection for LGBTQIA+ communities and allies.

The event is the brainchild of Polly Shute, co-founder of Out & Wild Festival and a long-time LGBTQIA+ advocate. Curated by wellness leaders Sam Adams (she/her) and Emy Mendoza (he/him), the programme includes free and ticketed activities such as yoga, breathwork, sound baths, guided walks and sports tasters — all led by queer wellness practitioners and community leaders. A community picnic on Sunday 29 June at 2 pm will round off the weekend, with dogs warmly welcomed.

Events will take place in serene green spaces across Canary Wharf, including Eden Dock, Crossrail Place Roof Garden, and Jubilee Park, making use of the area’s lush landscapes and tranquil waterside settings.

Pride in Wellness is a collaborative effort between Out & Wild Events and Proud Events, both queer-led organisations creating inclusive experiences year-round. The initiative is supported by Canary Wharf Group and in partnership with leading LGBTQIA+ charities including Stonewall, elop and Rainbow Mind.

Attendees are encouraged to register interest now via www.prideinwellness.com. Most events are free to attend, but some are ticketed. Please check individual listings for ticket information.
