British singer-songwriter Lola Young is a certified icon. Fans love her signature blonde-streaked mullet, her honest lyrics and the way she seems to carry herself with refreshing authenticity. And now, fans are also calling the way she addressed her sexuality in a TikTok comment iconic.
She recently posted a video on the social media platform where she was dancing to the bisexual singer CMAT’s Take A Sexy Picture Of Me: “I did the butcher, I did the baker / I did the home and the family maker / I did schoolgirl fantasties / Oh, I did leg things and hand stuff / And single woman banter / Now tell me, what was in it for me?”
One fan commented: “no man deserves this”. The Messy singer decided to reply with: “I like p***y as well u know”. At the time of writing, her candid comment has over 26,000 likes.
The Messy singer recently released her single, One Thing where she sings the sexual lyrics “Break your bed and then the sofa / I wanna pull you closer.” And although the lyrics refer to “big dick energy”, we all know that people of all genders can be embody “big dick energy”.
While Lola is yet to label her sexuality, it’s great to see her address her interest in different bodies casually and unashamedly.
Now, don’t mind me, I’m off to listen to Lola and CMAT on repeat and manifest that the two queer singers will one day collab. That would certainly be a treat for the ears.
