A sold-out show hit the Clapham Grand this Tuesday (15 April), bringing unapologetic laughter, joy and tears to more than 600 lesbians and allies. Amy Spalding‘s jewellery brand SLT Studios, hot off their Dyke Love campaign, put together Dykonic Times, a panel that raised £12,000 for Queer Britain and The London Dyke March.
The show was presented by Amy and included a panel discussion, hosted by the voice of I Kissed A Girl, Charley Marlowe. The panel included multi-BRIT nominated Cat Burns, Victoria Scone, Georgia Wood and Shiv Dave.

Standout moments included Victoria’s dykonic performance of queer icon Chappell Roan’s The Giver, and Ella Wills’ side-splitting sapphic stand-up prior to the talk. Amy also treated audiences to a lip-sync performance to Work From Home by Fifth Harmony.
“I have never been more proud to be a dyke!” said Amy. “This night healed my inner child, who was so scared of her queerness. The event was an unimaginable success; the queer joy and sapphic love were palpable, and I’m so proud to have been able to help raise so much money for such amazing causes.”

Sponsored by NYX Professional Makeup, the show raised £10,500 for Queer Britain, a museum which amplifies queer stories and history. An additional £1,500 for The London Dyke March, a grassroots, anti-corporate movement created by and for the community.
