Lesbian Visibility Week (LVW) has returned! Taking place between 21-27 April, this year’s LVW acts as a powerful reminder of why we need to continue fighting for representation, unity and community. Riding high on the sapphic renaissance we saw in 2024, this year’s LVW hopes to continue waving that wlw flag high. From powerful panels to astonishing awards, here’s what’s in store for this LVW.

DIVA and London Women’s Clinic Westminster Reception

22 April 

This flagship LVW event will launch the shared manifesto between DIVA and London Women’s Clinic about IVF for LGBTQIA prospective parents. Emphasising the vital need to provide equal access to IVF for LGBTQIA people, this reception will include powerful speeches from Kate Osborne MP, Linda Riley and Democracy lead for Compassion in Politics Anya Sizer.

23 April 

Get ready to celebrate the LGBTQIA trailblazers making waves across industries with our annual DIVA Power List. Published online and in a special supplement in The Guardian, this year we asked you to help us shine a light on the incredible work done by members of our community.

LVW at the London Stock Exchange

24 April 

Lesbian Visibility Week will be returning once again to the LSEG for the iconic Stock Close event, focusing on championing workplace inclusion. This year’s panel will explore how organisations can support LGBTQIA parents to bring their whole selves to work. In a time when diversity and inclusion in the workplace have been threatened, conversations like this are more powerful than ever. 

DIVA Awards 

25 April 

The votes have been counted! We’re back to honour some of the best and biggest moments for LGBTQIA activism, media, and more over the last 12 months. Hosted by power couple Char Bailey and Megan Jayne Crabbe, this year’s DIVA awards will showcase the power and strength of the LGBTQIA community at this pressing time.

Queer Musical Theatre Choir – Sing Loud for Lesbian Visibility Week!

26 April

Are you ready to sing your heart out to support the DIVA Charitable Trust? Mint and The Sing Space are putting on an unforgettable event with London’s brand-new queer musical theatre choir. The event will even offer participants the chance to sing on the Main Stage at London Pride alongside Layton Williams.

The night doesn’t have to end there – join us for the incredible after party which will kick off straight after the choir session! With two dance floors, sultry lounges, and more, let’s keep the LVW celebrations going until the end of the night.
