If your summer wasn’t already filled with festivals to go to, we’ve got another one to add to your list. BST Hyde Park has just announced that LGBTQIA sensation Gigi Perez will be joining Noah Kahan on the day festival’s line-up taking place on 4 July.
Known for tracks like Sailor Song which reached viral stardom, Gigi Perez has become a staple artist in every sapphic’s playlist. Taking off on TikTok, the lesbian artist is quickly gaining traction for the way her songs touch LGBTQIA communities.
Noah Kahan, whose tracks include the hit Stick Season, has been a vocal LGBTQIA ally. The singer tweeted his support for trans+ communities in 2023, writing: “Protect trans kids.”
Also performing on the BST Hyde Park stage on 4 July will be GRAMMY-nominated star Gracie Abrams, FINNEAS, Paris Paloma, Hazlett, Jo Hill, Sebastian Schub, Sydney Rose, Kevin Atwater and Lily Fitts.
This year’s BST Hyde Park – standing for British Summer Time Hyde Park – is inundated with queer acts that we’re dying to see. Stars like Girl In Red, Clairo, The Last Dinner Party and Beabadoobee will be taking to the iconic stage to perform their beloved hits. This year’s BST Hyde Park also includes megastar headliners like Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter.
