The iconic lesbian is back on stage this August and this is how you can get your hands on a ticket

August can’t come soon enough! Miriam Margolyes, the iconic lesbian actor, author and comedian, is returning to the Edinburgh Fringe for another show, full of energy, passion and her undying love of Dickens.
Margolyes & Dickens: More Best Bits will run for 14 dates between 9-24 August at the Pleasance EICC. With more characters and more Dickens, Miriam’s performance is set to be as electric as ever. After beguiling everyone with her love of the author, it’ll then be over to the audience to provide questions. The answers, in typical Miriam fashion, will be unfiltered, unapologetic and outrageous honesty.
In her own words, Miriam’s show is the “same old c**t, even older but so enjoying the thought of another go with Mr Dickens… and you!” If you want to be in the audience for one of her shows, tickets are on sale now via Fane.
Miriam, a former DIVA cover star, is a veteran of the stage and screen. With an OBE for her services to drama and a BAFTA for The Age Of Innocence, she is a national treasure. Her last Edinburgh Fringe show received several high ratings from critics and this one is expected to be even better.
