The Traitors winner Leanne Quigley has shared her big plans for her prize money – as well as putting some towards IVF, she is planning an “iconic” lesbian wedding to her partner Sophie.
Last Friday (24 January), Leanne and fellow faithful Jake Brown rooted out the traitors to win £47,300 each. Speaking to MailOnline, the former British Army soldier revealed she intends to use part of her winnings for a lavish wedding. “We’ve got wedding planning to do,” said Leanne. “We’ve just started. We haven’t set a date yet, but yeah, we can get a wedding going.”
And where would this wedding take place? Andross Castle, the building where The Traitors was filmed, is Leanne’s ideal venue. “I actually looked at the castle because I didn’t realise you could get married there. That would be so iconic.”
The Scottish castle can cater for up to 130 guests, which is handy because Leanne plans to invite all her fellow Traitors contestants, “the most incredible people [she’s] ever met”.
During the show, Leanne had said she would use the money for IVF. This is still the case, but not as immediate as a wedding. “I will absolutely be trying to have another baby, not straight away, maybe in a couple of years.”
She added that her family needs “a little bit of a rest at the minute”. Sophie, her partner of six years, with whom Leanne already has two sons, was diagnosed with cancer in July 2024. Thankfully, she was told she was cancer-free earlier this month. As such, the pair are planning on freezing their eggs so that they can return to IVF in a few years.
