The Kick-Ass actor has been linked to the model since 2018

It’s the question on every Chloë Grace Moretz fan’s mind – is the actor engaged? People have long suspected that the star, who publicly came out in November 2024, is in a relationship with model Kate Harrison, but after multiple photos (including one posted by the actor herself) show the pair wearing sparkly diamond rings, we’re all wondering if they’re about to tie the knot.
As we wait to see if this is really true, here’s a rundown of the couple’s rumoured relationship…
2018 – The rumours begin
Just over six years ago, in December 2018, TMZ released pictures of Chloë and Kate on what looked like a date night. Sapphic fans flooded social media to ask whether the pair were dating, but we wouldn’t hear anything for years.
2022 – The two are spotted again
Maybe it was the pandemic, maybe they weren’t dating, but we didn’t see any more of Chloë and Kate until August 2022, when the Daily Mail published photos of the two having dinner together in Santa Monica.
Later that year, Chloë confirmed to The i Paper that she’s “in a long-term relationship”, but never said who with.
2023 – The Instagram debut?
Fans were already suggesting Kate was Chloë’s mystery partner, but even more so when the actor’s New Year’s Day Instagram photo dump, dedicated to “the incredible people in my life”, included a selfie with Kate on the final slide.
On Valentine’s Day, Kate seemed to confirm the relationship by posting an Instagram story, with a picture of the two of them on it. Chloë also reposted the story, but neither actually said whether or not they were celebrating as friends or a couple.
Similar happened again during the summer, when Kate posted a carousel of her Pride celebrations in New York, including a selfie of her and Chloë, while the latter posted many pics of their holiday to Cape Cod.
2024 – Engagement rumours begin
In May, Chloë and Kate posted pics again, this time of their trip to Disneyland. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Kate seemed to be wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger. Could it be an engagement ring?
Rumours intensified after Kate posted pics from a hiking trip, in which Chloë appeared to be wearing the exact same ring, again on her ring finger. The pair are seen wearing the matching rings at a variety of different events, including the wedding of Chloë’s friend Mia Monkarsh and the Democracy Heroes gala in New York.
2025 – Chloë seems to confirm the rumours
The actor took to Instagram again to post a picture of both her and Kate wearing the diamond rings. The caption was a simple message wishing everyone a peaceful New Year and neither confirmed these were engagement rings, so this continues to be rumours. But we can all agree, the post is so cute!
