I Kissed A Girl star Eva has revealed why she didn’t kiss Meg in the final kiss off.

In an episode of Emma Neill’s podcast, Here For The Craic, Eva spoke about how there was a connection with someone other than Meg, her partner in the finale, that she wasn’t “allowed to explore”.

The lesbian said there were “a lot of things that weren’t shown” on the sapphic dating show. She explained: “There was another connection that I was not really allowed to explore. So that was a factor.” Eva never said who this person was.

She also said she needs to take things slow in a relationship and that wasn’t something she got from her on-screen partner, Meg. The differing paces Eva and Meg were taking in their relationship was a theme throughout their journey. In a challenge near the end of I Kissed A Girl, the couples had to answer questions, one of which was about whether you could see yourself falling in love with your partner. While Meg answered “Yes”, Eva said no, because it was all too quick.

On the podcast, Neill praised Eva for being so honest, but the reality TV star made it clear that there was no other option. “We had to lock in our options before [that challenge].”

According to Eva, this was part of the show’s efforts to make sure people were being really honest. She explained that the show was trying not to be “gossipy” and instead “show people how those relationships form and how lesbians work”.
